New Delhi/London: Indian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom P. Kumaran launched the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) India–UK CETA Guide for Goods and Services at India House on Thursday, providing Indian businesses with a practical roadmap to benefit from the landmark trade agreement.
The guide was originally unveiled by Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal in Brussels and is intended to help Indian exporters and enterprises understand and maximise the opportunities created under the India–United Kingdom Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).
The publication is designed as a practical reference for businesses, offering guidance on market access, trade procedures and sector-specific opportunities arising from the implementation of the agreement. It is expected to assist exporters, manufacturers and service providers in expanding their presence in the UK market and strengthening bilateral commercial ties.
The launch at India House underscores the growing economic partnership between India and the United Kingdom and reflects continued efforts by the government and industry to ensure that Indian businesses are well-equipped to take full advantage of the opportunities offered by the India-UK CETA.
